GG weekend News...

Firstly JAMES DABILL, JST GG had another top 5 result on Saturday at Day1 at the World Trial Championship in Japan !
Speaking briefly with Dibs he said that he was very happy with his riding and gutted to lose out on the most cleans tie break with Legend Lampkin for 4th. James was actually only 4 marks behind Adam Raga who was 3rd. He was very happy with his loaned, standard PRO300 and thanks to Jack lee for prepping the bike with Dibs' personal special 'hand luggage' parts.

Day 2 was a different story and he had his worst WTC day of the year finishing 10th. Again speaking briefly to Dibs last night he admitted that he was 'rubbish' and blamed himself for riding bad. He mentioned the sections were very 'hit n miss' and obviously he 'missed' a few too many....Ill get the whole story off Jack tomorrow ;)

After 7 days of this years WTC James is now in 7th place in the overall championship, 11 points behind Jeroni and 7 points infront of his GG Team mate Marc Frexia.
The WTC comes back to Europe to Italy in two weeks time where James will keep pushing. He's had a 4th in the UK Day 1 and a 5th in Japan Day 1 so now im pushing him for the podium. He has the bike and the ability, he just needs to keep pushing and focusing on the job in hand.

Ross Danby, JSTGG made the long and expensive trip to Japan with his 'stand-in' minder and all round nice bloke Stuy Robinson. Ross is commited to the whole WTC this year in the Junior Class and is now in joint 6th place in the Championship after finishing 8th and 7th respectively this weekend in Japan.
Ross has the aggressive and confident riding style needed for the WTC and just needs to make a few less small mistakes and have that bit of luck to get back into the Top 5 where he's capable of being.

Congrats to;
TONI BOU ---- MONTESA
ALEXZ WIGG - BETA
JR ------------ SHERCO

The STEVE PLAIN Managed GGUK Enduro Team were at Round 4 of the GBXC Race Series in Devon and No.1 Rider ASHLEY WOOD finished 6th overall. This was a good result for Ash who could not compete in Hungary last weekend due to illness. Ash had a bad start and with a fast course it was difficult to 'catch and pass' so to get back to 6th at the flag was a good solid race for Ashley.

Bradley King (SPGGUK) and Luke Meredith (SPGGUK) were 10th and 11th respectively in the PRO Class and showed 100% commitment as normal. Brad got stuck in a rut on the first lap behind Greg Evans and then crashed shortly afterwards getting frustrated after losing valuable places. Brad settled his pace and finished just infront of his Team mate Mezza at the flag.
Luke was struggling a bit for big power on his trusty EC200 on an open fast course.

Congrats to the winner Tom Sagar, Husaberg
