JST GAS GAS UK win Team Award at 'The Scott' and DABILL fastest!

Team JST GAS GAS UK have just won the Manufacturers Team Award at the infamous ‘Scott Trial’

James Dabill (2nd), Sam Haslam (4th) and Ross Danby (6th) won the award all having fantastic results.

Dan Thorpe also had an excellent ride finishing 5th which proved Dan is still one of the countries best Trials Riders at Traditional Trials.

I am really pleased to have 4 JSTGG riders in the Top 6. Dibs, Sam and Dan were all on 2010 model bikes (Ross still on his 09) so it was a harsh test for the new bikes.

I was gutted we did not win the event outright especially as I was quietly confident Dibs had done enough to get the win this year. He was easily the fastest even with stopping to fix a front puncture and he said after that he was ‘average’ in the sections. Truth is he was only 5th best on observation which is simply not good enough to win. I was still happy with him because he gave 100% and the bike went well….Thanks Kev.

I must congratulate the winner Graham Jarvis and Sherco for his amazing 9th win which I doubt will ever be beaten. Graham is from the ‘old school’ and he is always awesome around the Scott. Even with not riding regular his observation score of 22 was impressive.

Jonny Walker (GG) also had a good day finished 11th with Manxman Barry Kinley (Juan Knight GG) finishing 13th.

Other GG Scott Spoon Winners include Phil Alderson 17th, Craig Robinson 18th, Lee Sampson 22nd and Dan Farrer 23rd.

Our two JSTGG Girls also finished within the allowed time limit, Katy Sunter 54th and Emma Bristow 57th.

Also worth a mention was Scott First Timer and GGUK Spanner-man Luke Meredith who also finished within the time limit in 76th.

WELL DONE to EVERYONE who finished, not only the GG riders.
