Dibs 6th in Madrid.....and more GG weekend news

JAMES DABILL, JST GAS GAS UK Rider finished 6th in Madrid on Saturday night at the penultimate round of the Indoor WTC.

Dibs is now 4th place in the Championship with one round to go in two weeks time. His Team mate Adam Raga is now 3rd five points in front. He also has a five point advantage over Jeroni in 5th.

Dibs will work even harder during the next two weeks to finish the Championship hopefully on the podium..

Dibs was a ‘self confessed sh1t’ when I spoke to him after the event saying he was fuming at his ‘lack of timing’ which was obvious when he had two easy fives in the semi final. Dibs fived the ‘skips’ section and ‘sleepers’ section which ruled him out of the final.

James was still upbeat after the event and although unhappy with his riding on the night he was not fazed with this result. He is remaining positive and is happy with his training last week back in Spain.

Thanks again to Jack and isma.

SAM HASLAM JST GGUK Rider WON the Bemrose National Trial in the Peak District yesterday.
Sam lost only 3 marks to beat his JST Teamster ROSS DANBY who finished 2nd on 5 marks…

This superb traditional national trial is always popular and although the day was cold, the rain held off to make the trial yet another success. Well done to Craig Robinson who was a strong 4th.

Thorpey had a bad day at the office and was nearly beaten by a 39 year old office boy from Buxton !

Thanks to Barry Robinson for pic of the winner Sam Haslam

ASHLEY WOOD No1 SPGGUK Enduro rider went to the Fast Eddy and had a superb 2nd place behind Tom Sagar.
Martin Sandiford on his GG CC250 was 7th and Tim Forman on his Plainer Gasser was 9th.
Charlie Evans crashed and dislocated his elbow…..more news on this later.

GAS GAS Riders LEE SAMPSON and LINCOLN BREWSTER, finished 1st and 2nd Rideoffroaduk event.

After speaking to Linconi last night he was battered and bruised after a big crash in the latter stages of the race and actually didn’t know the other GG rider that beat him! The winner was ex- trials rider LEE SAMPSON who took the deserved win from the Terminator on his EC300. Well done Lee!

Shirty
