DABILL wins Chris Carter....and other GG busy weekend news...

JAMES DABILL JSTGG No1 Rider is back in the UK and back with a win at the popular Chris Carter Novogar National on Saturday.

Dibs has always wanted to win this superb event in memory of Chris and is now really pleased he has done so. Dibs rides for the Yeadon & Guisley Club so he was a ‘Happy Easter Bunny’ at the finish. Dibs has not ridden ‘no-stop’ since possibly the SSDT last year so u can see that the best riders can adapt…
DAN THORPE JSTGG Rider was the busiest Team rider this weekend riding four events!
He won a Richmond Trial on Friday. He was 2nd to Dibs at the Chris Carter making it a JSTGG ‘one-two’ on Saturday. Then he won the Jack Ellis Yorkshire Centre Trial on Sunday.
Dan then travelled to North Wales and rode the Lomax National Novogar Round and won the Novogar Class. Chris Pearson won overall with SAM HASLAM JSTGG second and Dan third.
Mega effort from our multi National winner!
After his superb win at the Jack Wood last weekend Dan is really on form at the moment on the National scene.

SAM HASLAM JSTGG Rider was 2nd overall at the Lomax losing the win by one mark.

ROSS DANBY JSTGG Rider was 5th at the Lomax losing only 7 marks which just shows how close the event was this year.

GARY MacDONALD JSTGG Rider won the second Round of the Scottish Trials Championship.

CHRIS SHORT JSTGG A Class Youth Rider was 2nd in the ‘Youth’ Italian European Round on Saturday and rode again on the Sunday finishing in the points with a 14th place in the Junior Class at the ‘Adult’ Italian European Trials Championship round.
One thing is for sure all the different classes at the Euro rounds are very confusing!

JACK PRICE B+BJSTGG B Class Youth Rider finished 6th in the International Class at his first European Trials Championship round.

JOANNE COLES ACEGG Rider was 3rd in the Womens Italian European Round.

Thanks to Eric Kitchen for the pics of Dibs and Dan.

The 2nd round of the British Enduro Championship was cancelled due to the bad weather in Scotland. Ashley Wood was already on route when he heard the news.

LINCOLN BREWSTER GGUK Enduro Rider on his CC200 teamed up with JASON CROSSLAND at the WOR EVENTS 5 hour event. They finished 2nd in the 2 man Team Class.

Regards,
Shirty
