With no Major events on this weekend it was a welcome weekend off for many of the JST Team-riders this weekend after a very busy April then the SSDT etc.

However, Dan Thorpe (JSTGG) was as keen as ever to ride especially after collecting a new bike last week! He cleaned up at the Richmond Clubs Gerald Simpson Trial where he went ‘clean’ to win.

Also worth a mention was a win for young JACK PRICE (B+BJSTGGUK) at The Presidents Trial at Addingham.

My pal Juan Knight who rarely rides on the mainland nowadays has now got to start travelling again because his son Thomas Knight is already turning heads in the small wheel 50cc D Class and was second again yesterday at the British C+D Championship at Bracken Rocks. Thomas naturally rides GG and has a pretty trick TXTBOY. Not only is Thomas impressing everyone with his skills, he has also deserves a massive round of applause for getting over his fight with Leukemia. Thomas is now well, enjoying life and driving his parents mental!! Good on ya Tom !

The GGUK staff were also out in force at the Saturday Night ‘World Championship Trial’ at Macclesfield…Factory Kev won overall with his bro winning the 50/50 route. Even Luke rode which was cool to see him back on a bike after wrecking his elbow.

This coming weekend its back to BTC action for Dibs and co.
Steve Plains GG Enduro Team Riders will also be out in force at the popular British Sprint Championship. New signing Danny McCanney will be issued with his new Plainer prepped CC300 so it will be interesting to see how Danny goes. Danny joins our No.1 Team Rider Ashley Wood who is currently ‘inform’ after his podium at the first British Cross Country Championship last weekend…
