This weekend saw a very busy time for the IOWmc as they played host to the final round of the Youth British championship. With A and B class riders doing battle on Saturday instead of their normal Sunday slot, Because Saturday evening there would be an indoor trial for the top few A and B class riders. The outdoor trial was held in perfect conditions warm and sunny, Just as well really as Alexz Wigg had brought a friend over from Spain Alfredo Gomez who is Spanish champion and plays host to Alexz on his trips to Madrid. As normal Alexz and Sam Haslam locked horns from section one and did … [Read more...] about Steve Saunders Youth Team report from the I.O.W
The new "06 PRO MODELS come from the factory with an 'Homologation needle jet' to allow the bike to pass noise and emission laws with the 'catalyzed' front pipe that the bikes come with. The bikes may also come with a plastic restrictor in the airfilter and a restrictor that prevent the slide in the carb opening fully. YOU MUST FIT THE STANDARD FRONT PIPE, REMOVE THE RESTRICTORS AND CHANGE THE NEEDLE (sprayer) JET. ALL THIS SHOULD BE DONE AT THE DEALERS WHEN THE BIKE IS PDI'D. IF IT HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED, I WANT TO KNOW!! "06 125 ------------- Change from K260 to K268 "06 250/280/300 --- … [Read more...] about IMPORTANT “06 PRO JETTING INFORMATION
Yesterday was the final round of the 2005 British Trials Championship. The event was held at the popular 'Skyrakes' venue by the Bradford and District M.C.C. and the sections were superb. I must admit, during the practice lap i thought that they were a little over the top with the grass being so wet and slippery, but when the the trial started the sections dried enough to be ridden and there was nothing over the top and i thought the severity was spot on. Some of the riders were unhappy with some of the observers decisions which is definatley open to discussion. I personally think that the … [Read more...] about Colley 2nd and Morris 3rd in BTC !

Dear all; Steve Colley (GAS GAS) finished 2nd at the penultimate round of the 2005 British Trials Championship. Graham Jarvis (Sherco) won the event to extend his Championship lead to 11 points from Colley. Only a disaster from Graham at this coming weekends final round would hand the Championship to Steve. Steve has now jumped 13 points ahead of Sam Connor (Sherco)who had a 4 point lead over Steve in the Championship before yesterday. Sam started the event and trailed Steve by 1 mark after the first lap. At section 10 on the second lap, Sam 'splatted' the awkward undercut step and … [Read more...] about COLLEY jumps to 2nd in the BTC and THORPEY clinches Expert Championship!!

Yesterday was the final round of the 2005 Fast Eddy Race Series @ Culham near Oxford. RYAN VOASE is the new Pro Class Champion with GAS GAS UK rider, PAUL WHIBLEY finising second. After the penultimate round i was lead to believe that ALL five rounds were to count towards each overall championship as it (still) states on the organisers website. This meant that Whibz had a 17 point lead with only one round to go, so the championship win was nearly insight. HOWEVER, i was since made aware that the Pro Class could actually drop one round so that meant that if both Paul and Ryan dropped … [Read more...] about WHIBZ finishes second at 2005 FAST EDDY RACE SERIES
Paul Whibley has just finished 14th in the E2 class at the International Six Day Enduro in Slovakia. Tom Sagar retired from the event on Day 4 after his recent, repaired broken arm was too sore to continue. The strength in his left forearm was weakening and with two riders from the Junior Team already out of the event, Tom took the wise decision to pull out himself. For more reports and full results checkout; www.enduronews.com www.isdeslovakia.sk BIG respect must go to DAVID KNIGHT who won the event outright ! Dad would be proud!
