GG weekend news….British Extreme Enduro

GGUK had 3 riders at the weekends Fast Eddy British Championship Extreme Enduro race at the popular H20 venue near Oswestry.

A challenging and very enjoyable course was enjoyed by all.

GGUK No.1 Enduro rider Juan Knight was again in great form. The ‘machine’ from the Isle of Man took the holeshot in the Vet race and just disappeared. I know this because I was right behind him for ONE corner!
Juan won the Vets easily and was a very respectable 8th overall.

John Shirt was 4th in the Vets, a bit disappointed not to finish on the Vets podium but really enjoyed the race and rode conservatively taking no risks. Its important right now to get the new bikes to the finish to prove the product.

Michael Brown was drafted in purely to get another GG rider on the bike. A big name in the Trials world added a third rider to the team for this race. Michael rode for fun and loved his first Extreme Enduro experience. Michael was going well until he got stuck in a bog and flooded the bike. He was stuck for approx. 20 minutes before he was recused. He continued two more laps and finished 8th Expert. Longer legs needed for his next race!

Pics show the 3 x 2018 ECRACING bikes before and after the race together with three smiling riders.
