JSTGGUK Team Riders Jack Price, Michael Brown and Dan Peace won the prestigious ‘Scott Trophy’ Manufacturers Team Award at The Scott Trial on Saturday. This is a very important award and im proud that GAS GAS have won it.
I must congratulate and thank the Richmond Motor Club, Clerk of the Course, helpers and also observers for making this great event run as smooth as it could with the extreme conditions.
JSTGGUK riders results;
JACK PRICE was 2nd.
This was a great result for Jack. He set standard time and rode a near perfect race/day. A front wheel puncture slowed his pace towards the end.
Jack will definitely win this event one day.
He prepared very well for the event this year and it paid off.
JACK PEACE was 4th.
This was an incredible result for Jacks only second Scott Trial. Jack has hardly any experience riding in these conditions and i was very surprised and impressed with his 4th place.
MICHAEL BROWN was 5th.
Great to have Michael in the top 5 and yet another Scott Gold spoon. Michaels not ridden much this year but prepared well in the later few weeks. Past winner and good experience ensured Michael dealt with a very early bike drowning which he sorted quickly and pushed on well to make up for lost time.
DAN PEACE was 22nd.
This will be both a Scott to forget and learn from and also be proud about. Dan had a nightmare drowning his bike no less than 4 times which resulted in a time over an hour slower than fastest time.
Im impressed Dan did not quit thus helping GAS GAS win the Team Award. True Yorkshire grit!
DEC BULLOCK was 30th
Just outside the Scott Spoon Award but was still smiling in places and will be back next year.
Thanks to Factory Kev for the meticulous bike preparation for Jack Price and Michael Brown bikes.
Great day for GAS GAS winning the Team Award and 3 riders in the top 5
Thanks to www.trialmag.com for the pics
Congratulations to Dougie Lampkin and vertigo for the overall win.
