Team JSTGGUK at BTC1Yesterday was Round 1 of the 2013 British Trials Championship organised by the West of England MC ltd at the fantastic Kellys Farm venue in Devon.

The actual trial and sections were spot on with regards to marks lost and severity of sections using the no-stop rules so congrats to the club.

Conditions were dry but cold and the granite rocks were incredibly slippery with the dirt that dragged onto them.

No.1 JSTGGUK rider Michael Brown was second again to James Dabill. Both riders were making mistakes which seems to be the way with nostop rules.

Michael started really well and lost 5 marks on the first lap which soon became 10 after he got stung for a stop on section 12. Only one mark behind Dibs so the win was on.
Both riders had poor second laps with Micheal actually missing a flag on section 7 which was frustrating. One lap to go and still only one mark in it. Dibs had a fantastic last lap compared to Michael and deserved the win.
On the whole I was happy with Michaels riding, just too many mistakes at this level cost him the win.

The rest of the Team had an average day;
Sam Haslam 6th, Alexz Wigg 7th, Ben Morphett 9th, Dan Thorpe 18th and Tom Dexter 23rd

Congratulations in the Expert Class must go to 3rd place and podium for JSTGG rider Jack Stones

Thanks to Factory Kev for prepping Michaels bike.
Thanks to Yoomee for the pic.
